What is an office lobby sign?
It is your company logo built in three dimensions and mounted where visitors see it first — the reception desk, the lobby wall, the elevator landing. The letters and logo are cut from solid material (acrylic, aluminum, PVC, or wood) at least ⅛″ thick, so they throw a real shadow and read as a finished brand mark rather than a flat printed panel.
In North Miami Beach, along the busy 163rd Street corridor, a clean reception logo helps an office or practice stand out.
Family-owned, full service
Titans of Print has been a family-owned South Florida sign shop for over 20 years, and we handle a lobby sign end to end: design, fabrication, and installation. You deal with the same people from first sketch to the day it goes on the wall — no franchise call center in between. Many clients pair the lobby piece with a matching logo sign for the wall or dimensional logo sign elsewhere in the suite.
From manufacturing to installation
How Are Dimentional 3D Signs Made?

Pick the materials
First step is picking the right materials, our most popular being acrylic as it is most versatile but we also produce dimensional signs with PVC, wood, metal and foam with aluminum faces or various laminates.
Laser cut, casting, waterjet or routed.
Laser cutting and waterjet is great for very precise and detailed pieces that are small. Casting is great for metal and routed for any materials but best for larger pieces.
Finishing, painting and mounting options
Materials that are routed typically needs some cleaning up, sanding etc. Once this is all done we can PMS match your logo colors and paint it. Next step is adding a mounting option typically either spacers or adhesive tape.
Now comes installation
This step is the fun part, installing the sign with a template, some signs require drilling and others just aligning and removing tape.

An office lobby sign in North Miami Beach is the dimensional logo mounted on your reception or lobby wall — the first thing a client, recruit, or visitor sees when they walk in. This page covers what these signs are, the materials and finishes we build them in, how the process works, what they cost, and how we design, fabricate, and install them for offices across North Miami Beach.
What is an office lobby sign?
An office lobby sign is your company logo and name built in three dimensions, rather than printed flat on a panel. The letters and shapes are cut from solid material — usually acrylic, aluminum, PVC, or wood — at a thickness of at least ⅛ inch, so each element throws a real shadow and reads cleanly from across the room. Because it is fabricated rather than printed, the same logo can be matched to your exact brand colors, scaled to the wall, and lit if you want it to stand out after hours.
People call these 3D interior office signs, reception signs, logo wall signs, or simply lobby signs. They are the interior cousin of exterior channel letter signs: the same dimensional, made-to-order approach, built for the controlled conditions of an indoor reception area.
Why office lobby signs matter for North Miami Beach businesses

North Miami Beach centers on the 163rd Street corridor and the Mall at 163rd Street, with the large new SoLe Mia development reshaping the Biscayne Boulevard side of the city. Its businesses are mostly medical and dental practices, retailers, and local service companies serving a dense, diverse population. A dimensional reception logo gives them a polished, professional look.
We build interior and reception signs for North Miami Beach offices along the 163rd Street and Biscayne corridors.
Unlike a flat printed graphic, a fabricated logo looks intentional. It photographs well behind a front desk, gives staff and visitors a natural backdrop, and signals permanence in a way a vinyl decal never will — which is exactly the first impression most North Miami Beach offices want to make.
Office lobby sign materials
Most of the decision comes down to material and finish. Here is how the common options behave and where each one fits.
Acrylic letters and logos
Acrylic is the most versatile and most popular choice. It holds color, cleans easily, and cuts to crisp detail, which makes it a safe pick for almost any logo. We typically run acrylic at ¼ inch to ½ inch thick for lobby work; thicker stock reads as more substantial up close. Acrylic can be painted to a precise color match, polished for a glossy edge, or faced with metal or laminate for a layered look.
Brushed and painted metal
For law, financial, and executive offices that want a high-end feel, brushed or painted aluminum gives a sleek, modern surface. Metal letters can be flat-cut for a thin, refined profile or built with returns for depth, and a brushed finish hides fingerprints well in a busy lobby.
PVC and foam
PVC and high-density foam are cost-effective when you need larger letters or a logo mounted on a backer panel. PVC paints well and stays dimensionally stable indoors; foam, often faced with aluminum or laminate, lets you go big without the weight or cost of solid metal.
Wood
Wood brings a warmer, more traditional character, especially when stained, and suits firms that want to feel grounded rather than corporate. It is an interior material, so we keep it out of humid or exterior locations.
LED halo-lit letters
For a premium reception wall, letters can be backlit so they glow softly against the wall behind them. Halo lighting uses low-energy LEDs and reads as upscale without being loud. The same approach works for a logo sign on the wall behind the desk or a freestanding dimensional logo sign elsewhere in the suite.
Acrylic vs. metal vs. PVC: how to choose
If you are weighing materials for a reception sign, here is the short version of how the common options compare indoors:
| Material | Look | Best for | Relative cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acrylic | Clean, modern, any color | Most offices, medical and dental, general use | $ – $$ |
| Brushed / painted metal | Sleek, high-end | Law, financial, and executive offices | $$ – $$$ |
| PVC / foam | Practical, lightweight | Large letters or backer-mounted logos | $ |
| Wood | Warm, traditional | Boutique, hospitality, traditional firms | $ – $$ |
| LED halo-lit | Upscale, glowing edge | Premium corporate, design, hospitality lobbies | $$$ |
None of these is universally best. The right pick depends on your logo, the wall behind reception, and your budget, which is why we recommend a material after seeing your artwork and a photo of the space.
How we design, build, and install your sign
Every sign is made to order, and we keep the whole process in-house so nothing falls between vendors.
Design and proof approval
We start from your logo — vector artwork if you have it, or we recreate it — PMS-match your colors, and lay the sign out to scale against a photo of your actual wall. You approve a proof showing size, material, finish, and mounting before anything is cut.
Fabrication
We cut letters by the method that fits the design: laser cutting and waterjet for fine detail, routing for larger letters, and casting for certain metal work. Cutting in-house keeps edges clean and timelines tight.
Finishing and mounting
Cut pieces are sanded, painted or finished, and prepped for the mounting method you choose. Stand-off spacers float the letters off the wall for depth and a subtle shadow; flush studs or tape give a tight, flat install. The right method depends on your wall type — drywall, glass, concrete, or paneling each call for a different approach.
Installation
We install using a printed template so the letters land level and evenly spaced the first time. If your office is outside our install area, we ship the finished sign with a template and clear, step-by-step instructions.
What an office lobby sign costs
Two signs that look similar can be priced very differently, because cost follows size, material, thickness, fabrication method, and whether the sign is lit. As a general range, most office lobby signs land between about $500 and $5,000. A compact, single-color acrylic logo sits at the lower end; a large brushed-metal or LED halo-lit build sits at the top.
The most useful thing you can do is share a target budget up front. We would rather right-size the design to fit it than send a quote that misses your range, and we will tell you honestly where spending more does and does not change the result.
Best office lobby signs by business type
In North Miami Beach, the offices we build signs for most often are medical and dental practices, retailers, and local service companies. Here is how we approach the common ones:
Law and financial offices
Brushed metal or painted acrylic in a restrained palette reads as credible and established.
Medical and dental practices
Clean acrylic, often with a halo-lit option, keeps a practice looking modern and trustworthy, and matching directional and suite signage helps patients navigate multi-tenant buildings.
Corporate and tech offices
Larger logos, metal-faced acrylic, and backlighting suit corporate tenants, where the reception wall is part of the brand for visiting clients and recruits.
Retail, hospitality, and restaurants
Bolder colors and lit logos work at an entrance or behind a counter, and pair naturally with other indoor signs or exterior outdoor signs when the space calls for both.
Sizing and placement
A logo on the wall behind reception sized to read from the door; for ground-floor retail suites, a piece at the entrance or counter. Because we proof to scale against a photo of your wall, you see exactly how the sign will sit before it is built. The usual spot is the wall directly behind the reception desk, sized so it reads from the front door without crowding the desk, and we also produce elevator-landing logos, conference-room walls, and matching suite or directory signage so the whole space feels coordinated.
Indoor durability, finishes, and maintenance
Because a lobby sign lives indoors, out of sun, rain, and wind, it holds up for many years with almost no upkeep. The finish you choose sets the tone: gloss reads bright and contemporary, satin is the easy middle ground that hides fingerprints, and matte gives a soft, premium look that photographs well under lobby lighting.
Painted and PMS-matched acrylic keeps its color far longer than printed vinyl, which can fade or peel, so a fabricated logo still looks new years after a printed graphic would need replacing. Brushed metal develops a subtle, even character with age, and any of these surfaces cleans with nothing more than a soft, dry cloth.
What to send us to get started
To turn your project around quickly, the most useful things to send are:
- Your logo in vector format (AI, EPS, or PDF) if you have it — a JPG or business card is fine too, and we will clean it up.
- A photo of the reception wall, with rough width and height, so we can proof the sign to scale.
- Your brand colors, with Pantone (PMS) numbers if you know them, so we can match them exactly.
- Your deadline and the install location.
From there we send a proof for your approval before anything is cut — the same process whether you want a single reception logo, a matching set of interior office signs, or a full suite of indoor signs for a new build-out.

How long does an office lobby sign take?
Most projects run about 2-3 weeks from approved design to an installed sign. Lit or larger builds can take a little longer; we give you a firm timeline with your quote.
How much does a lobby sign cost in North Miami Beach?
Most land between about $500 and $5,000, depending on size, material, thickness, fabrication method, and lighting. Share a budget and we will show you what fits it.
What is the best material for an office lobby sign?
Acrylic is the most versatile and popular; brushed metal suits high-end law and financial offices; PVC and foam are cost-effective for larger letters; wood gives a warmer feel. We match the material to your logo, wall, and budget.
Can you match our exact brand colors?
Yes. We PMS-match your logo colors and proof the sign to scale against a photo of your wall before anything is cut, so what you approve is what goes up.

Either on stand-off spacers for depth and a subtle shadow, or flush with studs or tape. The right method depends on your wall type — drywall, glass, concrete, or paneling — and we handle it during installation.

Both. We install throughout North Miami Beach and South Florida using a template so the letters land level and evenly spaced. If you are out of the area, we ship the sign with a template and step-by-step instructions.
Areas we install signs: North Miami, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside, Miami Gardens, Hallandale Beach, Miami Beach, and all of South Florida.
Not local? We can ship it to you, send instructions, a template, show a video and help you through the process.
